Collection Centers
The Collection Centres (CdR) offer a free service to help dispose of recyclable waste that, due to its size or type, cannot be collected through normal street or door-to-door collection systems.
The Centres are open to the public for the delivery of urban waste from both domestic and non-domestic users residing in the City of Turin. Other entities, required by current regulations, may also deliver specific types of waste.
The handling and unloading of waste within the collection point must be carried out by the citizen themselves; Amiat staff are responsible for monitoring access, regulating waste flows and providing information on the correct delivery of waste, as well as ensuring safety and emergency procedures.
There are seven collection centres in the city, spread across four of Turin's eight districts.
Type of user
The type and quantity of materials that can be brought to the Collection Centres depend on the type of user: check below to see which user category you belong to.

Domestic Users
Municipal waste produced by domestic users is that produced by private homes.
Domestic users can dispose of waste that includes:
Waste delivered to the Collection Center, following a visual inspection by the employee, must be placed in separate areas of the Center for homogeneous flows, identifying their characteristics and the different types and product fractions, separating potentially hazardous waste from non-hazardous waste.
Delivery may be carried out directly by the user who produced the waste. If the person delivering the waste is not the same person as the producer, a specific delivery authorization form must be completed and presented to the designated staff.
Hazardous waste
In the case of hazardous waste disposal, it is necessary to present the following completed form to the personnel in charge of the collection center:
To find out which waste can be disposed of, please consult the dedicated page for each Collection Center.
If the waste you wish to dispose of is not among those accepted at the CDR, you can request a quote by contacting our sales department at marketingambiente@gruppoiren.it.

Methods of waste disposal from non-domestic users
Waste delivered to the Collection Center, following a visual inspection by the employee, must be placed in separate areas of the center for homogeneous flows, identifying their characteristics and the different types and product fractions, separating potentially hazardous waste from non-hazardous waste.
At the time of delivery, it will be necessary to complete or submit the required forms for delivery to the RDFs, as required by the Ministerial Decree of April 8, 2008, as amended.
Non-domestic users may dispose of waste produced by domestic and non-domestic users, provided they have an appropriate authorization signed by the latter.
Non-domestic users who need to dispose of quantities exceeding the established limits set out in the table below are required to contact the AMIAT Ecocentres Coordination Centre to define the disposal methods by sending an email to amiat@gruppoiren.it.
To find out which waste can be disposed of, please consult the dedicated page for each Collection Center.

WEEE delivery from companies
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) disposal by owners of electrical and electronic equipment distribution, installation, and technical assistance companies that dispose of such waste generated by households (or their representatives), subject to registration with the CDCRAEE and submission of the delivery note.
To dispose of WEEE from "one-for-one" collection, which requires the retailer to take back the equivalent old appliance free of charge, an agreement must be entered into with the WEEE Coordination Center.
Registration is free and can be done from the reserved area of the CDCRAEE portal by following the simplified procedure instructions provided on the website.
After completing the registration and signing the agreement for disposal at the Collection Centers, you will need to contact AMIAT at amiat@gruppoiren.it, providing proof of registration with the CDCRAEE and receiving the necessary authorizations to access the CDRs, which must be returned completed.
The simplification process for distributors and their designated representatives also extends to the documentation required to transport WEEE: the legislation requires the use of a Transport Document certifying the place of production, the type of material, and the destination.
The WEEE Committee has prepared a sample Transport Document (DDT), which can be downloaded from the following link:
